Pointed Flower
This is a pointillism painting
of a rainbow flower.

The Prayer at Valley Forge 2
This is an oil pastel re creation of
The Prayer at Valley Forge
originally painted by Arnold Friberg.
Instead of George Washington, I
drew my best friend Megan.

Drowning Rose
This is a painting of a rose
using watercolor for the background
and tempura for the rose. It is one
of my first paintings using mixed media,
and I'm happy with how It turned out.

This drawing is of graphite pencils.
It is an old lantern, I picked this one to
draw because it had a lot of detail.

This is a side view of the same lantern,
same medium but a different perspective.

This is my final drawing of the lanterns, this
time with oil pastels.

This is an oil pastel of a green apple still life.
I picked an apple to draw because it
shows shades of green and yellow coming together,
yet being somewhat simple but a challenge to combine them.

This is a graphite pencil drawing of a green wine
bottle. Anything made of glass and somewhat
clear is somewhat difficult for me to draw,
so that's why I picked a bottle, to show values of light.

This is an oil pastel drawing of the same green
wine bottle. I used shades of green and browns
to get the color I wanted.

This is the final bottle drawing, done completely
with markers. I have little experience using markers
in my drawings because they are hard for me to use
and make the drawing have good detail, but I'm
glad how this one turned out.

For the last object I drew, I decided to do
something with a little more texture, perhaps
something with hair, like this stuffed bear. I
drew this with a black marker and left it plain to
show off the texture.

This is my final drawing, the same stuffed bear.
The medium is chalk like colored pencils, and
I drew it in a different perspective. This was
more of a challenge because I had to get the
colored pencils to look like hair.

Kansas

Kansas
This is a charcoal piece I drew for a perspective
project in drawing. It shows perspective in a
way a little different than buildings by
using the outdoors.

Free Floating

Free Floating
I did this piece to show my love for feathers, color,
and outer space. It brings random things together to create
something beautiful. This was for a color wheel project.

Shining Skull
This is a work of scratch art for my
drawing class. I created it with an
offset jaw to show a little
difference from a normal skull.

Shades of My Eye
This is a piece made completely of paper
squares of different shades for a drawing project.
It shows how creative people can be in the
endless creations of drawing eyes.

Winter Tree
This is a painting I did for a
cubism project about something
meaningful I drifted away
from the cubism, and
really focused on painting
a white tree in winter with a  rather
gloomy background. I chose
a tree because I love nature, and Winter
is one of my favorite seasons.
